This girl was affectionately referred to as "cock and balls" due to her number (010). Not very PC, I know, but she could bring the pain. I flew her on several missions, and although she was heavy, she had some nice flight characteristics as we flew her rocket/rocket frequently. She was smooth and accurate when you knew what you were about. You had to ask her nice, but if she agreed, you were in. She didn't like abrupt control inputs, you had to be smooth and have a plan with her. You had to FLY her. When you did, she was absolutely ruthless.

This was my assigned helicopter in OEF from late 2008 to 2009. I was with the 7-17 Squadron C Troop during this time. This bird was a highly reliable bird and I am sad to see that she will be scrapped soon. I will take dibs on the tail fin though!
