I was a young 18 year old crew chief on this aircraft in 1984, after arriving at my first duty station, Nellis AFB, NV. I was part of the 57th Aircraft Generation Squadron. I helped maintain this particular aircraft for three years, until transferring overseas to Germany in 1987. It left a very strong impression on my young mind; one which made me proud and honored to serve in the USAF.
