When it was at 23d England AFB LA in the 74TH Flying Tigers AMU I was the Dedicated crew chief from 1987 to 1991. In 1987 a 85.9 percent Full Mission Capable Rate And it helped us to win AMU of the year. In 1988 it was 93.5 {FMC} And the year we convert from the TF-34-100 motors to the TF-34-100A motors. In 1989 It was 96 Percent FMC. We participated Red Flag 90-2 from January 6-20 1990, May - June 1989 we went to Coronet Warrior at George AFB CA. Other TDY'S we done was Honduras, Turkey. In August 1990 we got deployment to Saudi Arabia. There it had a 94 percent Fully mission rate during Operation Desert Shield/Storm. It had the top air to ground kills in the 74TH.I hope you enjoy this . I remember when it came back from depot it had the strip lights on it in 1989. It was a great plane a lot of code ones and I've ran the engines on it and cleaning the tiger teeth on it really miss working on it !!!! Paul Richard Ret.
