I was the Dedicated Crew Chief on this aircraft when it was in the 355 TFS / 354 TFW Myrtle Beach AFB

I was 131's Dedicated Crew Chief from Feb 86 to Apr 87 with the 355th AMU (Falcon), 354 AGS, 354 TFW Myrtle Beach AFB, SC. At that time I had the privilage to be the only A1C DCC in the wing, and as my first jet, she was my pride and joy. Like most A-10s, she was extreamly reliable and a joy to work on. Although Myrtle Beach was a dream assignment, 131 was the thing I missed most. I'm saddened to see she's no longer serving, but I can honestly say that she had a large part in why I still serve today.
