I was a crew chief on 9030 from 1995 -1999 . When I got her she was the bottom of the pile on sorties , she broke down a lot . We worked hard for many months straight and soon became the top flyer for 5 months in a row! 9030 went to depot maintenance in 1999 just the same time as I had gotten out of the military . My father in law worked at depot maintenance at Warner Robbins air base and peeled the miss fury decal off of her for paint he gave it to me and I have it framed to this day proudly displaying it in my basement ! I was proud to have crewed this aircraft and remember all the panel 118 speed handle love I always have to her . Her biggest problem was a fuel pumping problem and spent a lot of time being diagnosed for the it's issues of not transferring correctly . I kept her polished and clean even one time she cut me open real good at the wash rack . I bled all over 9030 that day and still have the big scar on my hand to prove it . Would love to see her just one more time:)
