This jet was flown in DESERT SHIELD and DESERT STORM as an OA-10. The Pilot was Captain Jon Engle, and the designated Crew Cheif was SSgt Percy Lumang. The nails on the canopy stand for each 3 combat sorties it flew, and the door art (and name the jet carried in the conflict) was "The Box Seat". Named after a book of the same title, about foward observer pilots in WWII. Later, after the conflict, nose art was applied and the jet was dubbed "The Warrior". But it never flew in conflict with this name.
