This was the first jet I worked on at Bitburg AB, Germany as a member of the 525 TFS "Bulldogs". Started off as assistant then about a year later was the Dedicated Crew Chief on it. Nicknamed "Animal" after it went cross-country to a bunch of NATO bases and every unit tagged it with their mascots, all of them animals, and they did it in paint. I tracked it for a while and it went to the 33rd FW at Eglin after it left Bitburg. Good jet but towards the end of my tour it became the AB blowout king. Should have put velcron on the engine bay panels....LOL!! !
