I was a crew chief at Langley AFB in the 48th FIS from 1981-1990 and 75-086 was the first F-15 I crewed. Our other B model was 75-083. We transferred them out in the mid 80's sometime and they were replaced with 76-0126 and 76-0127. I was given incentive rides in both 086 and 126. Great flying aircraft.

This jet also had my name on it at Kingsley. Great flying B model, almost always code 1 and a BFM machine for a B model.

F-15B 75-0086 was assigned to the 27th TFS / 1st TFW and was named "Rocky Mountain High". John Denver was given a ride in it during one of his television specials back in 1979. I had the good fortune to get a ride in 75-0086 in Nov '80 and the name was still on it's nose!
