I WORKED THIS AIRCRAFT FOR A SHORT TIME BEFORE WE TRANSED INTO F-15E'S. I ALSO SPENT TIME ON OTHER TAIL NUMBERED PLANES STORED AT THIS LOCATION 73-1185 AS WELL AS A FEW OTHERS. I WAS ONLY IN FOR 4 YEARS AND I SPENT 3 OF THEM ON THE F-4E. I LOVED THIS PLANE AND HAVE A FEW OF MY OWN PHOTOS. I WAS NOT THE ONE TAKING THEM I WAS TRAINING FOR THE 15 AT THE TIME.SO I DIDN'T GET PHOTO'S OF THE RIGHT SIDE CANOPY SILLS. WE WERE IN THE EAGLE SQD 334TH TFS, WE WORKED OFF JOKER ROW ON THE FLIGHT LINE. IT WAS A HUMP TO GET OUT AND BACK WHILE WORKING THIS PLANE. I WAS A SWING SHIFTER MOSTLY. MOST PEOPLE KNOW THIS TO BE THE TIME THAT ALL THE WORK IS DONE TO GET READY FOR THE NEXT DAYS SORTIES. AS I HAVE SAID I LOVED MY TIME ON THIS PLANE.
