I was the Primary/Flying Crew Chief on "Grunt Truck" from 2001-2003. I cross trained to be a Flight Engineer in 03. I flew combat missions on this Acft as both an FCC and an FE. I was pretty lucky to be the last flight engineer to fly on her. I delivered 70001263 to the bone yard on 30 June 05. I delivered 70001262 "Lucky 13" just 3 day before. Some days it's good to be the FE scheduler! Long live the mighty Herc. I have a couple more acft I crewed in the bone yard as well. C-141 65009401, 66000135, 66000149
