Was a great flying bird when it was at Altus. Well, most of the jets at Altus flew well (at least when I was there '03-06). Won quite a few trophies at Rodeo too with that jet.

She did finally get off on a black letter. I was a bubble chaser. She was mine from early 92 through early 95. In July of 92 she took off on a black letter initial. It lasted for all of thirty minutes. She bounced back code three.

My very first real Name on the side of the aircraft crew chief job. Took over as CC in 1989-1991 Put her through a good refurb, then Desert Storm hit had 1 K write-up working on a Black Letter intial, but never got there as the Gulf War blossomed we parted seperate ways. My DCC trips during that time period were extremly busy, I seperated active duty in May 1991, never to step foot on that Aircraft again. History: Almost crashed at DAFB in early 1982 or 1983 due to hitting a flock of geese after take-off, lost 2 engines and 2 hyd sytems, tower told AC to ditch in Delaware Bay, however crew was an expeirnced and seasoned reserve crew and landed her back safely at DAFB. Imponded for several weeks and down for several months with sheet metal damage 4 engine changes, flap and slat changes, and several gear doors, as well as NLG bulk head and radome. Another work horse laid to rest. RIP 70-0452.
