This aircraft was sent to AMARG for disposal where we found it in really good shape. FlightSafety brought the cockpit section from 245 forward to its Broken Arrow facility and turned it into an new Weapons Systems Trainer for the HC-130P. It is now in training at 58 TRS, Kirtland AFB, NM. Its sister ship, 69-6582 was also salvaged and is being used to train ACC crewmembers at Moody AFB, GA. It is estimated that these aircraft will live on as trainers for at least another 15 years.
