Back in 1977 I was stationed at Shaw AFB SC 62edTRW 363 TAC/AGS 382 was my jet for a short time. This plane got the name "buzzard eater" my first day at Shaw 382 coming back from a mission had a bird strike witch demolished the radome completlysharte d part of the wind screen and broke the front seater's colarbone, hens the back seater had to land the jet. after one year 382 was then transfered to Bentwaters afb in England. thats all I know about this rf4c phantom intill I found out it was at amarc. I have been to amarc once and I would love to come back and vist my old jet if the is possible....... ..thanks!!
