Better known to most of us as "Big Momma", this tail number bore the canopy rail name of our Wing Commander, Colonel Cecil W. Powell of the 363rd Tactical Recon Wing, Shaw AFB SC - circa 1980. This aircraft was routinely used at airshows and static displays, as it was the most finely manicured RF-4 on the planet! The 363 were in larger than usual letters to signify the 363rd Recon Wing. I flew her a few times and she was sweet! I brought back a few "stars and bars" parachutes from Cannon AFB on a cross country and they were always used with this a/c when she deployed from the base for shows. All the Shaw AFB propaganda shots displayed this airframe.
