I crewed 939 at Little Rock AFB, 1972-73 it was an AWDS AIrcraft. 314th OMS

I was stationed at Pope Afb, NC during 1999-2005. I was the 1st assistant Crew Chief of this particular aircraft. We named it "The Freedom Bird." It was one of the first C-130E's to have discovered the wing box cracks and was at depot for over 2 years. The Crew Chiefs assigned to her were:DCC Garnet BradleyACC Lindbergh Alonzo Teke Moore
