I flew this aircraft at Zweibrucken from 1974-1978. After separating from the USAF and being out of the military for 5 years I joined the Idaho Air Guard and there it was. It had my name on it while in Boise, and it did indeed fly sideways!

By the way this one flew in South East Asia and did a gear up landing. One of the mains did not come down. The wing was replaced and the plane flew crooked ever since. Always notice on launch the rudder was to the right about four inches from center. The gear up landing was from the pilot who flew her in Vietnam. She was sold to the Boise ANG and I was given an older 64 model F4 without a towel rack.

This was my first jet at Bergstrom AFB Tx. Where is it now? Do you have a picture of it? How can I get one?
