When 68-127 was brought to the 522nd, I crewed her with Larry Oehm until I took 68-174 back from General Dynamics in November 1987. What a fun ride it was.

Arrived at Cannon AFB early 74. I was assigned its crew chief. The aircraft required alot of maintenance due to fuel leaks. However working with my inital trainer Richard Sorenson we were able to launch it for a FCF checkout. Soon after I received orders for RAF Lakenheath.

This was our flagship for a long time. It was maintained in the 523rd AMU. I worked on these jets for 17 years here at Cannon.
