I was crew chief of 68-062 throughout much of 1982. Worked on her once for nearly 18 hours straight, trying to get that black letter initial in the 781 before a deployment to Nea Anghialos, Greece in Sep '82. Almost succeeded...the effort was scuppered by back-ordered parts. Good times, great aircraft. Sorry to see her scrapped.
