i was the crew-chief on this aircraft from 1982 until 1984 i named her EXPECT NO MERCY after a Nazareth song the pilot on this "pig" was captain al wilton the assistant crew chief was chris jennings,..... i think,..... this aircraft flew many zero defect missions in a row which was completely out of the ordinary for any f 111 on tdy in marone spain it blew a tire on the runway and never was really the same after that . i have never had job satisfaction like i had on that beast laying all over the tab v floor in pieces put it back together and watch it fly she definitely fulfilled my first boy hood dream working on jets IF YOUR HEADED ON THE STREETS, AND YOU WANT TO MIX AND FIGHT, LET ME TELL YOU SOMETHING I DON'T WANNA GET YOU UP TIGHT, IF YOUR IN A CORNER AND YOU CAN'T FIND NO WAY OUT, DON'T LOOK FOR HELP AROUND HERE, THERE WON'T BE ANY AROUND...... EXPECT NO MERCY something like that
