67-0019 was at McGuire for many years before it apparently went to McChord for the time you saw her there. She was stretched in 1979 and came to the 438MAW where I was her first Crew Chief as a 141-B. Great Jet, very reliable. She served her country well and I will always remember her fondly.

Before it went to the 305th Airlift Wing at McGuire AFB, NJ, 67-0019 was assigned to the 62d Airlift Wing at McChord AFB, WA. I was a maintenance officer at McChord from 1999-2002. A crew of maintainers and I accompanied 67-0019 to Christchurch, NZ to run McChord's final season of Operation DEEP FREEZE with the C-141B. 67-0019 was a good jet... it was tired... but it treated us well throughout that deployment, only hard-breaking once we got to Hickam on the way home!
