SCRAPPED? It says it was scrapped in Tucson. We were told it was on display somewhere! Had i known it was going to be scrapped I would have driven over to see it one last time. Sheeesh, Lee, The "killed" our baby!

This was my first assigned aircraft at Homestead AFB Florida, 79-80. Stewart was my first assistant crew chief and took over the jet after i transferred to the 49 FIS in Dec of 80. Great Jet (and loved those hydraulic wingfolds after working the E).

This was my first assigned aircraft at Homestead AFB Florida back in 1979. I was the dedicated crew chief on this jet for about 4 years. I can't believe it is on a stick in MN. Awesome.
