First RF-4C I flew back at home station (LNK ANG) after completing RTU at Gowen Field, Boise, Idaho. My dad was the crew chief on 932 (MSgt Donald Kucera) and was on the headset and launched me on my first operational sortie. I flew with the Hustlin Huskers for 4 years; 1984-1987. I transitioned to the A-10 (Richards-Gebau r AFB, KC, MO) in 1988 and retired in 2009 with more than 24 years of service.
