I was the DCC on this aircraft from 1986 until the time aircraft arrived there. The aircraft had a major centerline fuel leak due to a cracked wing. The wing was replace with a D model wing by a CFT assigned to Bergstrom. The aircraft was sent AMARC after a bird strike damaged the left intake ribs. The once returned from flight with a huge thigh, leg and claw stuck in the middle of the aft centerline tank mount and the aircraft. It was a lucky day for the aircraft and the pilot. It was a good flying jet.
