I was crew chief on aircraft 64-000614 from 1994 until they left our unit in Jackson MS to Memphis TN ANG unit. I took a lot of pride in my aircraft. I refurbished the entire flight station with new flight engineer and nav tables made of cabinet grade oak and other amenities of which crews from other bases were impressed with. If you have pictures of these I sure would like for someone to email me these. This was a fine aircraft with an impressive history to go along with it. We almost used it for a pedestal display but the costs to have it done was pretty costly.

AMARC I was a C-141 loadmaster for twenty five years and I am looking for any photograph of C-141B serial number 65-0243 that may have been taken prior to disposal. If you have a photograph can you send it to me electronically via email? It would be greatly appreciated. Th ank You Bill Weeper110 BaythorneUniver sal City TX 78148-2818(210) 659-2958

Acft -627 as it was affectionally known, was a fairly decent aircraft to work on and fly on once we got all the bugs worked out of it after receiving it from active duty service.Actuall y,it was the floater aircraft we received from the airforce to our unit, (we had 9 ) and at one time it had one of the longest high departure rates for our unit.I sure hated to see it be retired and hope it doen't get the guillotine treatment so many other 141's have seen.We received it from travis afb in 1993 and has served many missions during it's time at the 164th.
