63-7880 was the first AF airplane I flew in. I was an Aircraft Loadmaster and my first assignment was to the 346 TAS at Dyess AFB in Feb 1966. Shortly after my arrival, I was sent on a flight to start my flight pay. The aircraft was 63-7880. We flew from Dyess to Sewart AFB in Tennessee to deliver the airplane for camoflage paint (it was silver when I flew in it). I have lost my Form 5, so I don't know how many times I might have flown it after that. The last time I saw the airplane "in person" was at Cam Ranh Bay in 1968 when I was flying with the 776TAS from CCK AB, Taiwan. 7880 was TDY from Dyess and had a big "DY" on the tail.
