Acft 63-7854 crashed in Kuwait and was transported to Kuwait City, Kuwait where it was disassembled and transported to the "Bone Yard at DMAFB, Tucson, Az. I forgot the year but was reported as pilot error landing about 2000 feet short of the runway on Al Jabbar AB in Kuwait.

I had maintained 63-7854 at McChord AFB, WA from 1985-1989. The plane was named: Esmerelda....wa s also known as: The Haunted Herk, as a crew chief had been killed in it many years ago. I had witnessed the troop lights turn themselves on one night, during an inspection I was performing.
