I took over care of this aircraft in 2001 as a assistant FCC. Took a lot of pride in keeping it on a black letter initial. We named her el'diablo and even painted a large mural on the right MLG insulation. This plane and I flew all over the pacific and I love it to this day. Was a great time of my life being stationed at yokota and working on this aircraft.

Was the assistant FCC then FCC for this aircraft. I was assigned to it just before a landing incident severely cracked the FS737 bow beam. A depot team came in to replace skin forward of the ramp, bow beam, ramp, scuff plate and several fittings. We did the first refurb with new dark grey interior during that time too. Plane needed 5 degrees of rudder trim to fly straight after that. The brace at the aft edge of the right troop door is still visibly bent. Great plane after that. This was all at Yokota AB 1998-2000
