I was the assistant crew chief on this plane 1996-97. I became an FE and flew the plane a lot. It was really reliable. She was a good girl!

I flew 63-7765 once during my tour with the 776 TAS @ CCK, May '71-Oct '72. On 5 Sept 72 I was the copilot on Spare 639 (63-7765), departing Saigon Tan Son Nhut at 1245 local, 7 sorties for 3.9 flying hours (I made 3 takeoffs and landings) and arriving back @ TSN 1855 local. This was a shuttle to Phnom Penh Cambodia (Cambodian Gunrunners ?). Just another day, with all expenses paid, in beautiful South East Asia. 1/LT J.P. McVicker

I was the last DCC on this aircraft. It was assigned to the 62nd AS @ LRAFB. Before it got the wing cracks it was the OPS GROUP CCs aircraft.
