I flew 62-3532 many times while she was assigned to the 509th AREFS at Pease AFB, NH between 1978 and 1980, then again between 1985 and 1990. Most of the KC-135As assigned to the 509th were 1962 models, and our maintainers kept them in great shape. I hope that one day, 3532 can escape from the desert and return to flying, maybe as a KC-135R.
