I was Assistant Crew Chief on this aircraft at Nellis AFB, Nv. from August, 1963 to March, 1067. assigned to the 4529th OMS of the 4520th Combat Crew Training Wing. This was the very first aircraft I had crewed. My Crew Chief was SSgt Alphonse Yanez. Brig. Gen Eubanks was wingt commander, replaced be Brig. Gen George Schimallor. 475 was re-designated as Nellis One under his command. When Col. Frank Everest took command of the 4520th, the aircraft lost its designation. This was a fun aircraft to work on. I still remember it very vividally.
