First aircraft (B52-G) received by the 4241st St wing June 1959, Seymore Johnson AFB, Goldsboro, NC from Boeing. Had the name paint on each " The City of Goldsboro".

Wow. I flew in the gunner's position on this bird when I was at Mather AFB between 78-82.I also refueled this aircraft flying out of Moron during Desert Storm as a KC-10 Boom Operator.

I was a B-52 aircraft commander at Griffiss AFB, NY in the late 80s and early 90s. I flew 164 many times, including one or two Desert Storm combat missions from Moron AB, Spain and several Red Flag missions.
