I was the crew chief on " Bookie 520" (radio call sign) at Phan Rang AB, RVN during the first part of 1970. We were assigned to the 310th TAS, part of the 315th TAW. I made Crew chief of the month for the month of March 1970, for the 315th TAW. 520 flew more hours in less days than any other aircraft in the wing. I was very proud of her.
