I was assigned to this aircraft from 1983 to the time I retired in 1992. This aircraft was stationed at Robins AFB,Ga assigned to U S Central Command in Florida. Gen. Robert Kingston, Gen George Crist, and Gen Norman Swarzkopf were the Generals I flew with. I maintained all the avionics and traveled with this aircraft and also on another EC 135 tail number 72-0327. The years I flew with both these aircrafts, not one mission had to be cancelled, not one take off was late and all arrivals at the destinations were all on time. We had a great aircrew and maintenance crew that traveled with these 2 fine aircrafts. It was a pleasure to be a part of the history of these 135s.

I worked on this aircraft in the early 80's at Wright-Patterso n AFB. It was the first aircraft I was assigned to as a young airman. At the time it was designated as an NKC-135A. It was assigned to the 4950th Test Wing. During the couple of years I worked on it it was used mostly as a transport and training aircraft as it didn't have an active flight test program.
