After some research I discovered that the date I delivered this aircraft was actually July of 1970.

I delivered this aircraft to the boneyard in May of 1970 from Viet Nam. We island hopped to the westcoast and then on to DM. Took two weeks. Waited several days at Hickam for the winds to be compatible and then we still had 4 hours with a critical wind factor that would have put us in the water. We spent 16 hours from Hickam to the coast - slow and cold - no heat, no autopilot, no wx radar, 55 gallon drum of oil and Benson tanks for fuel and a navigator who's only direction day after day was - Head East..... Head for the big E ... good memories. If you know what happened to this aircraft please let me know
