#1 Charles Drobac AFCM AW USN RETIRED  cdrobac@cox.net  2009-06-26 00:00
This aircraft was last deployed on board the USS AMERICA with ATTACK SQUADRON EIGHTY FIVE. When the squadron was disestablished in 1994 the remaining flight crew and maintenance crew's names were stenciled on the port and starboard sides of the aircraft. As the maintenance chief at the time I was told it was to be flown to the desert at AMARC and would be placed in preservation and the names of the squadron personnel would remain on the aircraft. This aircraft participated in the BOSNIAN CONFLICT and later the SOMILIA CONFLICT during the deployment. This aircraft side number was 515 AB buno 160430 and this was a composite wing A6-E TRAM.
