I flew as an enlisted aircreman on this aircraft (160053) from Oct. 1991 to Dec 1995. I was based at NAS New Orleans, now known as Joint Reserve Base New Orleans. Our Mission was Executive Air Transport. We carried out our mission with three aircraft. Two CT-39Gs and one CT-39E. (BuNo 160058 and 159362) We mostly flew one and two star admirals to our home away from home, Andrews, AFB in Washington DC. We also flew congressmen, high ranking civilian employees and occasionally foreign dignitaries, and space A. We executed our mission throughout the US, the Caribbean, Central and South America as well as Canada. Our unit was a permanent detachment of the Navy Fleet Logistics Support Command based in Dallas, TX.
