This aircraft was one of the first ones that VF-33 received when transitioning from F4's to F14's in 1981. Some reason I believe this was side no 200.

I flew this particular F-14A (159425) when I was a RIO in VF-33 in the late 80's. The paint is wearing on the vertical stabs and rudders, and underneath the VF-74 markings you can see the star and lightning bolt of VF-33. The "AB" on the inboard side of the starboard rudder is also from VF-33, which indicated CVW-1, flying off the USS America. I'd have to check my logbook for individual flight details.
