I was there from 84-88. I was an AZ. I look back and can honestly say I had a great time there. Those birds were workhorses.

I was in VF-301 from Jan 1991 to Jan 1994. I was a Plane Captain and Avionics Tech. Side number 112 was a strong work horse. A very reliable performer. Great weapons package. Operated in extreme environments, from El Centro Ca in June/July to Cold Lake Canada in Oct.

159005 joined VF-301 on 14 Feb 1985 when a pilot from NADEP North Island (Marinshron) and I, as the RIO, ferried it from NAS North Isalnd to NAS Miramar. Looking at my log book, it must have been a good flyer once we go it up to speed. I flew it 7 times in April '85 on AIC, ACM, Low Level, and PMCF flights. I CQ'd in it in June '85 and flew it an average of twice a month until I left VF-301 in March 1986.
