This was actually a VQ-1 Bird, painted up in a Centennial of Naval Aviation paint scheme of the old "BAT" squadrons. You'll notice that one of it's engines is in the normal P-3C grey, that was due to an engine change a few months before parking this bird. It was decided for what ever reason to not repaint the engine to match the aircraft.
Truth be told, the paint on the leading edges of the empennage was wearing down to the primer, and the bird was in dire need of touch-up paint.
