AD 575 was first assigned to VA-42 Oceana , VA. There were three TC-4C aircraft in the squadron, 575, 576, and the hanger queen 577. I had the pleasure of flying as aircrewman from Sept 69 to May 71. Good aircraft but DIANE was a challenge to keep in the up condition.

This is one of three TC4C's, assigned to VMAT(AW) 202, Cherry Point NC. 202 was an A-6 training squadron for air crew during the Vietnam War. Several air crews could be trained at once using these aircraft. They were powered by two Rolls Royce turbo props. There was also a training squadron for A-4' s and F-4's, in this group. The other two TC4C's at 202 were 155723, and 155728.
