#1 Byron Moore bgmoore2337@gmail.com  2012-11-02 00:00
My name is Byron Moore. My father-in-law, Harold Wilson, was in the 3rd Marine Division in Vietnam. On March 1, 1969, his outfit, C-1-4, was involved in an assault on Hill 484 in I Corps of Vietnam. During the assault medevac choppers were ordered in. One of these choppers was flown by Steve Fetzer, of HMM-164. According to Steve's log book this CH-46 was BUNO 151910. This assault has been written about in the recently published book, Matterhorn. The June 2012 Leatherneck magazine has an article in which Corporal Cleveland King, also of C-1-4, just received his Silver Star for calling in this exact C-46 during this March 1, 1969 assault. I have MUCH more info. I am wondering if this CH-46 is still around. Thanks for any help. Thank you,
