I had a total of six training flights (as a B/N) on her in her earlier life as an A6A. According to my logbook they were between 26JUN68 and 19SEP68 when she was attached to VMA(AW)224 (the Bengals) flying out of Cherry Point, NC.

This aircraft was in my squadron,VA-85 Black Falcons during my Med cruises in 1974 & 1975 on board the Forrestal. I have three pictures of this aircraft which I took in 1975 on board the Forrestal. The paint scheme is of the 70's two tone white and gray with the green bands painted around the aft fuselage for visual I.D. as a tanker. If someone is interested in the pictrues let me know and I'll e-mail asap.
