150499 was a bounce bird at VXN-8 - The Magnet bird was 158227. I believe 150499 was transferred the late 70s.. !50527 and 150528 were also bounce birds for VXN-8.

I believe this a/c came from one of my old squadrons, VXN-8. It was built per squadron specs for Project Magnet, a worldwide magnetic survey performed by VXN-8 for the Naval research laboratory (NRL). Project Magnet was one of 4 surveys conducted by the squadron for the NRL and the Naval Oceanographic Office. FWIW.
