Please read the following information before you use this web site further. There are some important pieces of information that you should be aware of to ensure you get the most from your visit.

Viewing the Web Site

This site has been designed to look its best with your computer screen resolution set to 1024x768. It should still be very usable at 800x600 but you will need to scroll the pages around a bit more.

Web Site Policies

If you would like to use pictures or information from this web site please let me know beforehand so that I can ensure that material not belonging to me is not used without permission from the rightful owners. Thank you.

I try and respond to all messages I receive as soon as I can but sometimes due to work or other commitments there may be some delay in replying. Please be patient and please send a chase up message if you think you have been forgotten.

Compatability

This web site has been developed so that it is supported 100% by Microsoft Internet Explorer versions 5.0 thru 6.0. I have monitored how many users visit the site using Netscape and other software packages and have found that less than 1% of visitors use non-Microsoft browsers. I have decided that at the moment I will concentrate on improving the site for the majority instead of coding around uncompatabilies with other browsers. I appologise if this is inconvenient but it is the situation at the moment and will be reviewed periodically. If you do use Netscape and find a 'show stopping' problem please let me know and I will see what I can do.

Navigation Menu

The web site Navigation Menu, seen on the left, is available on all pages on this web site. Click on the main menu options to expand the menu options available below it. This works the same way as the Windows Explorer that you have probably had experience of before. Menus that can be expanded are indicated by a 'closed folder' icon with a 'plus' sign next to it, menus that are expanded and can be closed are indicated by an 'open folder' icon and a 'minus' sign next to it.

If you have Cookies enabled on your browser the Navigation Menu will remember which menu options you have expanded so you do not have to expand the options again when you navigate to a new web page. If you have disabled Cookies from your browser the menu will reset when you move to the next page. Cookies are not neccessarily a bad thing, the AMARC Experience cookie is only used to enhance your pleasure during your visit, nothing more.

The larger 'Forward' and 'Back' icons on the navigation menu allow you to navigate up and down the pages you have recently visited, the same as the browser Forward and Back buttons.

Linking to this site

If you would like to put a link to the AMARC Experience on your web site I have created a few GIF files which are available for your use.

If you require information on how to create links using these files please let me know.
