Area 13

Description
Located on the West side of AMARC this storage area currently holds General Dynamics F-16. 2 German Tornado's that were stored on this area for the German Air Force were moved to Area 20 at the end of 2001. Located near to the administration buildings near Kolb Road it is quite easy to view all the aircraft in this area, though photography will be a problem. The Pima Tour bus travels right passed area 13 so this is the best option for photographs (ignoring the tinted bus window problem!). Sit on the left hand side of the bus for the best view. This area is best viewed in the morning as in the afternoon the sun sets behind the aircraft making them difficult to read.




Visitor Notes
