The last West Coast Viking. On September 19th, 2006 Lockheed S-3B Viking 160136 from Sea Control Squadron 41 (VS-41) 'Shamrocks' based at NAS North Island, CA. retired to AMARC. This event brought to a close over 25 years of S-3 Viking operations from NAS North Island. VS-41 will officially decommision on September 30th after 46 years of service.
